Don’t leave it too late! There’s nothing worse than writing a panicked nomination hours before the deadline, only to realize later that you’ve missed out important information. Of course, you don’t have to submit your nomination immediately but start on it in good time in case you think of something else to add later.
“Before you even begin writing or filming your submission, plan ahead and consider the category you’re entering,” says Zoë Morris, President at Tenth Revolution Group. “Make sure the person or organisation you’re nominating meets the criteria, and look at previous winners for inspiration.”
“A nomination needs to be crisp, concise, and focused on outcomes,” advises Wendy O’Keeffe, EVP & Managing Director at NEXTGEN Asia. “Be clear about what you achieved and the impact it had.”
An outstanding nomination isn’t about flowery language—it’s about authentic enthusiasm.
Share why you believe the nominee deserves recognition. Use anecdotes or stories where relevant to bring their impact to life. These are tech awards, but ultimately they’re about celebrating the people and ideas behind the innovation.
Entries should be 500–1,350 words or a 3–5 minute video. Links to supporting evidence can be included.

While AI tools can be useful for brainstorming ideas, they shouldn’t be used to write your nomination. Judges want to hear your voice, your perspective, and your passion for the nominee.
A winning nomination reflects genuine insight into the achievements being celebrated—something AI simply can’t replicate. Share your own words, your own experiences, and your own stories. That authenticity will help your entry stand out and connect with the judging panel.
Judges are looking for clear, concise, evidence-backed nominations that highlight impact. Start strong, prove your points, and let your passion shine through.
