Award Category Criteria

Judges will be looking for initiatives that demonstrate measurable, sustainable and meaningful impact in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion across organisations, communities and the wider technology ecosystem.

Judges will be looking for:

Meaningful inclusion

Evidence of creating genuine opportunities by improving representation, accessibility, belonging or career progression for underrepresented groups within the technology sector.

Measurable impact

Clear evidence that the initiative has delivered positive outcomes through improvements in recruitment, retention, engagement, progression, accessibility or wider community participation.

Innovation and leadership

A forward-thinking approach to removing barriers, challenging traditional practices or introducing new initiatives that create a more inclusive technology industry.

Long-term cultural change

Evidence that the initiative has created sustainable change through policies, leadership, partnerships or programmes that continue to deliver impact over time.

Collaboration and community engagement

Demonstrated collaboration with employees, education providers, charities, community organisations, industry partners or other stakeholders to extend the initiative’s reach and effectiveness.

Industry influence

Evidence that the initiative has shared best practice, inspired others or contributed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion across the wider technology ecosystem.
