DACH 2024 Judges

The Digital Revolution Awards wouldn’t be the most prestigious awards in the tech industry without the backing of our expert judging panel. Some of the cloud’s leading names are helping identify our winners this year. Let’s meet them…

Doris Schlaffer

Change and Transformation Expert, Location Manager | Communardo Software GmbH 
As a business consultant and IT change expert, Doris Schlaffers’ activities focus on the human aspects of digital transformation, such as employee acceptance or the successful integration of new technologies into modern corporate cultures and processes. In recent years she has specialized in various Microsoft 365 services such as Microsoft Teams, Yammer, SharePoint Online and the employee experience platform Viva. Doris graduated from the College of Multimedia Design at the “Graphische” in Vienna and found her way into IT purely by chance. Since then, she has put her heart and soul into it and founded the IT women’s network #thenewITgirls. Since 2021 she has worked at Communardo Software Gmbh and is Location Manager in Vienna.

Nico Schilling

CTO Automotive | Rackspace Technology
Nico brings 15+ years of direct, hands-on experience with expertise in the strategy, planning, integration, implementation, and operations of large business cloud programs. In his role as a Client Technology Lead for Rackspace Technology he is responsible for one of the largest automotive manufacturers worldwide, working closely with the Rackspace professional service delivery team and with his customer, including technical guidance and staffing.

Markus Tremer

CEO & Founder | GTS CloudSolution GmbH
Markus is the CEO and founder of GTS CloudSolution GmbH, a company whose goal is to support companies throughout Germany in growing and leveraging their potential with an innovative cloud strategy. The focus of their services is on cloud transformation and the operation of multi-cloud platforms. Markus has knowledge in new business development, process improvement, Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), managed services, and Microsoft technologies. Before founding GTS CloudSolution GmbH, he worked at Cluster Reply as the Head of Azure Infrastructure Business Unit. Prior to this, he worked as an IT consultant across a number of different roles and has worked on over 300 projects from small customer to large enterprise customers and is focused on high customer satisfaction and leading projects to success.

Juergen Stauber

General Manager DACH & Senior Sales Director Public Cloud | Rackspace Germany GmbH
As the General Manager for the DACH region, Juergen focuses on accelerating digital transformation journeys and delivering a Fanatical Experience™ through early support and vertical end-to-end multi-cloud solutions. He has a keen interest in the successful interlock between customer /industry requirements and agile, vertical end-to-end services that ensure successful digital transformation. Juergen joined Rackspace Technology in 2020 and with a background as an electrical engineer, he has more than 35 years of professional experience and IT industry know-how. Before joining Rackspace Technology, Juergen was the Industry Director and member of the German Management Board at DXC Technology. Previously, he managed various teams at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and was also Managing Director Managed Services at Computacenter and Managing Director of GE CompuNet Region South.

Igor Guss

Senior Manager IaaS | Ingram Micro Distribution GmbH
Igor has headed the Infrastructure-as-a-Service business unit at Ingram Micro since 2020, and is responsible for cloud partner recruitment, enablement and scale for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. He currently leads a team consisting of Sales, Pre-Sales and Business Development Managers. Having first joined the company in 2015, he was previously responsible for the portfolio of Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace in Germany and also running Ingram Micro’s German start-up competition Come Challenge in 2019.

Tome Tomovski

Manager, CIO & Cloud Advisory | KPMG
Tome is a technology leader with 13+ years of industry experience covering Europe, Middle East, Asia, and North America regions. He has headed multiple programs and teams, producing direct value impacting technology investments and spend, generating indirect transparency of savings and cost optimization in the range of millions of dollars. He supervised over 100 employees as Technical/Business Manager in projects and directly led, collaborated, and reported to C-Level and executive management while driving value throughout KPMG’s global organization by leading strategic initiatives for digitalization, IT strategy, innovation, cloud cost optimization and technology business management.

Ragnar Heil

Global Director of Partner & Alliances | Rencore
Ragnar is Global Director of Partner and Alliances at Rencore, and his community activities have earned him his Microsoft MVP status six times. His contributions to the MVP community focuses on the M365 apps and services space. He is the Co-Host of the bi-weekly Microsoft 365 News Show Alex & Ragnar, and also curates content and blogs for IT news portal Tekki Gurus. He is the founding member of Working Out Loud Community and Responsive Organization Movement in Germany. He has published several books and articles about new work, social intranets, digital business and rand ambassadors.

Michael Breither

In his role as the COO of the glueckkanja AG, Michael is responsible for business development and worldwide growth of the leading German Microsoft Cloud Partner. Michael’s experience includes sales and marketing strategies, business partnering, HR and the development of organizations.

Michael Rothe

Head of Competence Center AWS & Digital Transformation | Bechtle IT System House Bonn
Michael has been on the road in the IT business for over 20 years, in a wide variety of roles from client and server management to project management and global transformation projects. Since 2019, he has been part of the Bechtle family in the Bonn system house and took over the management of the Competence Center AWS & Digital Transformation team in February 2022. This team migrates and implements modern and cost-optimized solutions focused within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and advises customers on hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.

Martin Völkle

Head of Product Engineering | MHP – Industrial Cloud Solutions

Martin studied mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart, specializing in Industrial Mathematics. He successfully completed his studies with a “Bachelor of Science” degree in in 2012. After a decade spent in consultancy roles, Martin became Head of Product Engineering in January 2022. In this role he is significantly shaping the development of a new business model and a product organization that aims to develop, monetize and scale software solutions in the manufacturing industry. He is responsible for the technology area, strategy, and its operationalization as well as the product development, leadings more than 50 employees. Combining his understanding of digital business models and technology know-how allows Martin to solve sophisticated challenges with innovative architectures and solutions, integrating them in complex corporate structures and processes.

Thomas Lorenz

Director Microsoft Platform | IU Group
As Director Microsoft Platform, Thomas is responsible for all Microsoft 365 and Azure Services at IU Group. He has supported companies in the introduction, customization and adoption of SharePoint and Office 365 since 2010. Through numerous successful projects, Thomas has proven himself as a Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, as well as MCSE, MCSA and MCITP for SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Combined with his experiences in technical pre-sales, account management and as application owner, he can motivate and enable his team as well as being a trusted advisor for Microsoft 365. His personal interest is working out loud, social networks and collaborating efficiently in any communication loop.

Marc Schröter

CEO & Founder | globaldatanet
Marc is founder and CEO of globaldatanet—an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner focused on cloud-native development. He has 27 years of experience in the cloud industry and before shifting his focus to the public cloud seven years ago, implemented infrastructure services in the private cloud for managed service providers and large companies. Among other things, he was shaped by his work in a web agency during the new economy boom and dotcom bubble, including its total crash. With the rise of the public cloud economy, he built a global network of cloud specialists and founded the world’s largest conference for modern applications development using serverless technologies.

Cosima von Kries

Director, Pre-Sales Solution Engineering EMEA | Nintex

Cosima is the Director of a pre-sales solution engineering team in EMEA and has worked as a woman in tech for almost seven years. She acquired substantial knowledge about different process intelligence and automation solutions by actively developing strategic digitalization and workplace collaboration projects. Driven by these technologies, she supports businesses to improve their processes through automation and find the best way to operate more efficiently to benefit from their digital transformation journey. Her job allows her to merge her passion for tech, process automation and networking with the IT community on a global scale. She is an active mentor for the next generation of women in tech/women in tech leadership, a lecturer at the Information Management faculty and speaks regularly at different conferences.

Thomas Maurer

Senior Program Manager & Chief Evangelist Azure Hybrid | Microsoft
Thomas works as a Senior Program Manager and Chief Evangelist Azure Hybrid at Microsoft (Cloud and AI). He engages with the community and customers around the world to share his knowledge and collect feedback to improve the Azure hybrid cloud and edge platform. Prior to joining the Azure engineering team, he was a Lead Architect and Microsoft MVP, where he helped to architect, implement and promote Microsoft cloud technology.

Astrid Wieland

Sales Lead, Business Applications, SMB, Western Europe, Switzerland, Netherlands | Microsoft
Astrid is an experienced sales and marketing leader with a track record of excellence in business strategy, sales leadership and hands-on execution. With more than nine years of expertise in the IT industry, she has established herself as a successful woman in tech in an international organization. Currently leading the small and medium business sales for Business Applications across 12 countries at Microsoft, Astrid is also co-founder of #thenewITgirls – a community for women in IT that aims to empower and support them in the tech industry.

Michael Greth

Freelance Consultant and Trainer, Microsoft MVP
Michael Greth is a technology enthusiast who has been involved in the community for many years. He currently works as a freelance consultant and trainer, specializing in artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, the future of work, and video for enterprise. For 25 years he has been recognized by Microsoft as an MVP for Office Apps & Services for his ongoing commitment to the community. As a podcast pioneer, he has been online for 18 years with SharePoint Podcast, one of the oldest German language podcasts.

Femi Adedimeji

Innovation Project Manager | AVEVA
Femi graduated from the University of Manchester with a master’s in engineering in Biomedical Materials Science and has over 10 years’ experience in engineering, technical training and project management within the industrial software technology sector. She is currently Innovation Project Manager at AVEVA, Frankfurt, where she nurtures and drives a culture of innovation across multidisciplinary groups—empowering and equipping teams to apply their creativity and knowledge to solve the problems of now and the future! Her goal is to help organizations, teams and individuals reassess their relationship with innovation to help them produce valuable outcomes.

Tobias Öllinger

Vice President Group IT Europe | Infinigate Holding GmbH
After 10 years in consulting and implementation for software in the aviation and mobile industries, Tobias joined a leading company in the security industry where he played a leading role in developing the integration layer of a production software. Since 2018, he has tripled the size of the IT team at Infinigate and implemented a centralized API platform for their customers. He was also instrumental in transforming a traditional OnPrem environment to a cloud environment. As Vice President Group IT Europe he is responsible for central IT, which includes core infrastructure, business application and web, as well as software development.

Felix Spitznagel

Managing Director | XL2 GmbH
Felix is co-Managing Director at XL2, a unique joint venture between Audi and Capgemini that is located in the German cities of Heilbronn and Inglostadt. He has more than 20 years’ experience on the tech side of the automotive industry and previously held leadership roles with BMW, then Audi. Today at XL2, Felix focuses on building the technology and consulting capabilities that enable Audi and other Volkswagen Group brands to accelerate their digital transformation journeys. He is also an active member of the Heilbronn startup scene and 42 Heilbronn community.

Prateek Singh Mitter

Practice Manager, Enterprise Packaged Apps, EMEA | Infosys
Prateek spearheads the Enterprise Package service line for Infosys in Europe, which has a significant footprint across the central and eastern regions on the continent. His team pioneers large scale digital transformation programs in Europe by building futuristic business models, best in class business processes and harnessing the power of cloud, analytics and intelligence. Prateek is passionate about nurturing a world-class consulting practice which leaves a lasting impact for his customers.

Andrea Hendrickx

Country Head Germany | Infosys
Andrea is Country Head Germany at Infosys. In her role, she is responsible for delivery and operations as well as driving branding and talent strategy for Germany. Prior to joining Infosys she worked in the insurance sector and in IT consulting, as well as for Capgemini where she held various roles. Andrea has extensive expertise in profit driving growth, margin improvement, strategy, project and people management, global delivery and IT service management.

Leen Everaerts

Co-founder | Women in Dynamics
Leen Everaerts has been a part of the Microsoft Dynamics community for two decades. She’s been the driving force behind both strategic and operational marketing for various Dynamics partners in Belgium and since 2019, has embraced a more international role as Marketing Manager at Directions for Partners. Known for her hands-on approach and no-nonsense mindset, she has cultivated a distinct personal brand. As one of the co-founders and board members of Women in Dynamics, Leen has made it a priority to promote diversity and inclusivity in a traditionally male-dominated IT industry.

Tobias Kederer

EMEA Practice Leader – Sustainability & Migrations, AWS Professional Services | AWS
Tobias is a purpose-driven, international climate tech cloud professional services executive who drives profitable decarbonization, business value and customer satisfaction by scaling and optimizing delivery for enterprise-scale customers across multiple industries. A Senior Practice leader with 25+ years of global experience including building a sustainability practice for AWS EMEA Professional Services, Tobias also has 17+ years’ leadership with SaaS/Tech firms.

Mariam Kaynia

Director of Massmarket | Telefonica Germany
Mariam Kaynia is Director of Massmarket at Telefonica Germany, where she leads the B2C and B2P portfolio and delivery of new product and service launches for customers, as well as execution of a company wide digital transformation. Previously, she was Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she worked with telecom and high-tech companies on an international basis. Additionally, she worked as professor, been expert reviewer for the European Commission and held various Board positions. Mariam has a PhD in in Electrical Engineering, 2 MSc degrees and an MBA from the Alpine University of McKinsey.

Nils Kreft

Associate Director, Head of Cloud Center of Excellence | BioNTech SE

Nils has over 15 years’ hands-on experience in orchestrating and leading teams to succeed within digital as well as cloud transformations. In his current role at BioNTech, he is responsible for setting up and establishing their cloud center of excellence along with cloud capabilities. These projects are supporting BioNTech’s vision to translate science into survival by developing new immunotherapies against cancer, infectious and other severe diseases.

Florian Michel

Senior Director EMEA Talent Ecosystem | Salesforce
Florian is an ex-professional hockey player who is passionate about closing the digital skills and talent gap in the tech environment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Management, plus a double master’s degree in General Management. These were attained at the European Business School (EBS) in Germany and EADA Business School in Spain.

Mariam Kaynia

Director of Massmarket | Telefonica Germany
Mariam Kaynia is Director of Massmarket at Telefonica Germany, where she leads the B2C and B2P portfolio and delivery of new product and service launches for customers, as well as execution of a company wide digital transformation. Previously, she was Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she worked with telecom and high-tech companies on an international basis. Additionally, she worked as professor, been expert reviewer for the European Commission and held various Board positions. Mariam has a PhD in in Electrical Engineering, 2 MSc degrees and an MBA from the Alpine University of McKinsey.

Returning once more as host for our 2023 UK and Global awards is Maxine Nwaneri.

Maxine is the Founder and CEO of The Future is Greater, a professional services firm that helps companies retain, develop, and advance top diverse talent to drive business results.

Her company has helped clients on five continents achieve extraordinary results through executive coaching, consulting, workshops and other solutions based on proprietary processes developed from over two decades of dedication to radical development and transformation.

Prior to setting up her practice, Maxine obtained her MBA from Cambridge University, and acquired over 15 years’ experience in the technology and financial services industries. Her work has been featured on TV and several stages and publications internationally including HuffPost, Success Magazine, and Thrive Global.
